IGNITE Worldwide was awarded the highest recognition by the Department of Education as a state and national best practice program. The award was received by representatives of IGNITE Worldwide at a U.S. Congress briefing in Capitol Hill with the support of Senator Maria Cantwell and Senator Patty Murray.
The award was part of the Programs and Practices that Work: Preparing Students for Nontraditional Careers Project by the Association of Career and Technical Education (ACTE), the National Alliance for Partnerships in Equity (NAPE), National Association of State Directors of Career Technical Education Consortium (NASDCTEc), and the National Women’s Law Center (NWLC).
