Jacobs-sponsored Lunch Program
On May 4th, we went to Franklin High School to teach girls about Autonomous Vehicles. We had about 30 students attend. We used ozobots to simulate autonomous vehicles. The ozobots follow a line drawn by students and perform commands based on the codes drawn by students. The girls broke into groups and coded a path for the ozobot to complete based on several different scenarios for freight, transit, and single occupant vehicles. It was fun to discuss how technology will be shaping transportation choices in the future.
