Systemic racism is very real, and it is very ugly. The impacts ripple through our schools, our workplaces, our healthcare and criminal justice systems, our housing, politics and economy. Racial injustice affects many IGNITE students and community members on a daily basis.
IGNITE Worldwide is built on the foundation of equality: ensuring all young womxn, especially black, brown and low-income youth, have opportunities to recognize their potential, gain confidence in their authentic selves, and raise their unique voices.
We will be here tomorrow, next month, next year, and beyond to listen, to amplify, support and empower.
