Resources
Once you have completed the Educator Training and registered for an IGNITE Event, we will provide you with resources to help you have a successful event, including:
- An event agenda and information about the company and panel speakers, as available, so you and your students know what to expect and can prepare questions in advance.
- Template event flyers to aid you in recruiting students from around your school. We recommend posting flyers in high-traffic areas around your school at least 2 weeks prior to your event, so that it can be seen by as many students as possible.
- Template student sign-up spreadsheet that you can use to track
- Sample Panel Questions for students to reference during the Q&A discussion.
- A Media Consent & Release Form to obtain parental permission for students to be included in event photographs for marketing purposes, if your school does not already have releases on file.
- Facilitator Script for in-person Panels at your school. Please be sure to rehearse at least once before your Panel!
- Student Surveys – we ask that each participating student complete their own electronic, or, if preferred, printed survey. This occurs during the last 10 minutes of your event. We use these surveys to thank volunteers, improve our events, and share metrics with our supporters to maintain funding and keep events free to schools, so it is important for each student to complete their own survey.
You will have a dedicated IGNITE Program representative coordinating your event who will be in touch regularly to check in and share updates. We are here to support you, make the process as easy as possible, and ensure everyone has a meaningful experience!
