Stryker is a global leader in medical technologies and, together with their customers, they are driven to make healthcare better. The Stryker Redmond site focuses specifically on Automated External Defibrillators and Monitor/Defibrillators that help resuscitate patients in sudden cardiac arrest.
Students will learn about Stryker’s life-saving products and how they are designed, made, and used. Volunteers will introduce students to Stryker’s concept lab where professionals make product prototypes using a variety of tools. Students will also tour Stryker’s product floor where all of the AEDs and Monitor/Defibrillators are assembled, tested, and shipped out to customers. Then to tie everything together students will see how Stryker’s products treat patients by learning how to use a defibrillator during a resuscitation.
All students who attend will receive Stryker swag! All attendees (or their guardians) will be required to sign an NDA.
