Create a Retro-Style Video Game with Microsoft

Create a retro-style game using Microsoft’s MakeCode platform – help ‘Dash the Duck’ escape from a maze, create graphic designs, and more! Students will learn basic concepts of programming while creating their game, no matter what their experience level. Women at Microsoft will share their stories and how they overcame challenges to get to where they are today, followed by a student-led Q&A!

This experience is open to students in grades 4-postsecondary, at your school (Seattle/Bellevue area). Requirements: Each student will need a device with browser and keyboard, internet access and ability to access https://arcade.makecode.com. All students who attend will receive Microsoft swag!
