In-Person STEM & Skilled Trades Panel at Oak Harbor High School (Oak Harbor, WA)

Inspire IGNITE Students as part of Oak Harbor High School’s second annual Women in STEM & Skilled Trades event! This event will take place in-person at 1 Wildcat Way, Oak Harbor, WA 98277. Participation includes sharing your story on an IGNITE Panel, answering student questions, and meeting with students in small groups to share more about yourself and your work.

IGNITE aims to increase gender diversity in STEM and Skilled Trades fields, such as technology, engineering, welding, electrical services, and construction. Women, nonbinary, transgender, agender, and genderqueer professionals working in these fields, and those whose first language is Spanish, are highly encouraged to sign up as panelists!

This is an incredible opportunity to change an IGNITE student’s life! After signing up as a panelist, volunteers are required to review our 10-min Panelist Training Video at least once per school year and attend a live, interactive Virtual Panelist Coaching Session if they have not attended one in the past. Training must be completed by Feb 27, 2023.
